Bai Fatima Motor Driving School

Up in Altinho, right across from where V P Sinari's bungalow is, you will find our driving school. We are pretty close to the Law College, which is usually how people find us. Goa is a nice place to learn to drive, but these hills can be tricky for beginners. We use the roads around here every day. Bai Fatima Motor Driving School has been around for quite some time now. We are not some big chain; it is just a local operation. We have a couple of cars that we keep in decent shape for the learners. Sometimes the gearboxes are a bit stiff, but that is part of learning, right? We sit in the office and schedule the sessions on a big paper calendar. It is a bit old school but it works for us. The view from Altinho is great, though we are usually too busy watching the road to look at it. We see a lot of nervous faces every morning. It is a good feeling when someone finally gets the hang of the clutch. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing team. People usually just hear about us from their cousins or neighbors. We try to be patient because we know how it feels to be behind the wheel for the first time. It is a simple life here, just teaching one person at a time and hoping they do not stall in the middle of the intersection. We just keep going one day at a time.
