Vivek Tool Centre

Vivek Tool Centre is tucked away at 4928 Jama Masjid area, right opposite the post office in Gali Thathera. If you know the neighborhood, you know it is famous for metalwork and traditional tools. Our shop is just one of many in these winding alleys but we have our own way of doing things. We handle a lot of different hand tools and supplies that the local workers need. The space is small and we have to be very organized or we would never find anything. It is always interesting to see the people passing by outside our door since it is such a historic part of the city. We don't spend money on fancy displays or big signs. Most of our regulars just know our face and where we sit. Sometimes the post office across the way gets a big crowd and the whole street feels even more packed than usual. We just sit on our stools and wait for the next person to walk in with a specific requirement. Dealing with tools is straightforward work and we don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. We take the orders, count the stock, and make sure things are moving. It is a bit dusty and the lighting could be better but it serves the purpose. We have been in Gali Thathera long enough to see the seasons change many times and the work keeps us grounded.
