Epic Power Tools

Epic Power Tools is on the second floor at 1915, Sirkiwalan, in Ramesh Market. If you know the area, you know it’s one of the busiest markets around. There’s always someone shouting or a cart being pushed past. We have a lot of tools packed into our space. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially if we are moving heavy boxes of drills or grinders. The building is old and the hallways are narrow, but it’s a good spot to be in the heart of the trade. We don't have a lot of room for a fancy office, so my desk is tucked right in between the shelves. Most of the day is spent talking to people who come in looking for something very specific for their construction job. We’ve been in Ramesh Market for a long time. It’s a noisy place to work, but you get used to the rhythm of the street. We don't use any corporate talk or have big posters on the walls. It’s just stacks of tools and the smell of new metal and plastic. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when three people want something at once, but we manage to sort it out. We just focus on the stock we have and making sure people get what they came for. It’s a straightforward shop and we like being part of the market life.
