Shri Krishna Enterprises

Our business is located in the middle of Chawri Bazar at 3442-3443, Gali Hakim Baqa. If you know Hauz Qazi Chowk, then you know how crowded and busy it gets around here. Our shop is tucked away in one of those narrow lanes that define Old Delhi. We deal with various goods, and the space is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes. It’s a bit of a maze inside, to be honest. We’ve been at Shri Krishna Enterprises for a long time, and we’ve seen the market change quite a bit over the years. The noise outside is constant—carts rattling, people shouting, and the general hum of the bazaar. We don't have any air conditioning, just a few old ceiling fans that do their best. We spend most of our time helping customers who squeeze into the shop and looking for items in the back. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot, but it’s what we know. We don’t bother with fancy displays because there simply isn’t enough room. People come to us because they know we are here and we usually have what they are looking for. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, based on handshakes and being reliable. We close up late in the evening when the crowds finally start to thin out. That’s just life in Chawri Bazar for us. We just keep moving the stock and talking to our neighbors.
