Vipan Sales Corporation

We are located in the heart of Hauz Qazi, at House Number 2762 in Chand Market. If you have ever been to this part of Old Delhi, you know how crowded and loud it gets. Our shop is on the first floor, so you have to climb up some narrow stairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The market outside is always full of people pushing carts and shouting, but once you get inside our space, it’s a bit more manageable, even with the shelves packed to the ceiling. We deal with hardware and sales, and there is rarely a quiet moment during the day. We have been in this spot for quite a while, and we know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. It’s the kind of place where tea is served in small glasses several times a day and business is done with a lot of talking. We don't have any air conditioning that works particularly well, so the fans are always spinning fast in the summer. Everything is recorded in ledgers and on the computer, though the paper stacks seem to grow every week. It’s a traditional way of doing business in a very traditional part of town. We just open up in the morning, handle the customers as they come, and stay until the shutters go down in the evening. That is how we have always done it and it works for us.
