Universal Electro Refrigeration Company is based at House No-17/2 on Guru Dwara Road. We are near the Khooni Pull area, which is a well-known landmark around here. The shop is basically the ground floor of the house, so it’s a very local, family-run kind of setup. We have old refrigerators and electrical parts scattered around the entrance most days. It’s a bit of a mess, but we know exactly where every tool is kept. People bring in their broken appliances, and we spend the day taking them apart and trying to find out what went wrong. The road outside is usually busy with people going to the Guru Dwara, so there is a lot of foot traffic and noise. We don't have a showroom or a salesperson to talk you into buying things. We just fix what is broken. The walls are covered in diagrams and calendars from years ago. It gets quite hot in the summer, especially with the soldering irons running, but we just keep the doors open to catch the breeze. We’ve been in this house for a long time, and the neighbors all know us by name. It’s not a corporate office with a lobby; it’s just a workshop where we get our hands dirty every day. We don't make big promises, we just look at the machine and see what can be done to make it work again. It is a simple way to earn a living.
