Shri Balaji Engineering Works

Shri Balaji Engineering Works is tucked away in Gali No.-1 at Bahadur Singh Ka Ghera. We’ve got our shop at Kh. No.-40/7, and it’s a place where we do a lot of heavy lifting and metalwork. It’s not the easiest spot to find if you aren't from around here, but the locals know the sound of our machines. The shop is usually covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings because we’re always cutting or welding something. We aren't much for office work. Most of our time is spent with a wrench in hand or looking over a blueprint on the workbench. It’s a lot of manual labor, and at the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired. We started this because we’re good with our hands and there’s always something that needs fixing or building. The space is cramped, especially when we have a big project taking up the floor, but we make it work. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy with a machine. It's a straightforward business. We take the jobs as they come, do the welding or the turning, and get it out the door. It’s just us doing what we know how to do in our little corner of Gali No.-1. We keep at it because the work is steady and we like seeing things get built.
