Arun Engineering Works

We are located on the first floor at D/41 on Lord Krishna Road. If you know where the Shiv Temple is, we are right near there. You can often hear the temple bells from our workshop when the wind is right. Being on the first floor is a bit unusual for an engineering shop, so we had to figure out how to get our heavier gear up the stairs when we first moved in. It was a bit of a struggle, but we managed. The space is filled with lathes and welding equipment. It’s a bit dark inside, even with the lights on, because the windows are small. We’ve got oil stains on the floor and stacks of metal rods leaning against the walls. It’s a working man’s space, for sure. Lord Krishna Road is a busy little stretch, and there’s always something going on outside. We don’t have a big office or a place to sit and have meetings. Most of the time, we just talk over the noise of the machines. We’ve got a couple of guys who are really good with their hands and can fix just about anything. We don’t make a big fuss about things. If a job is hard, we just take our time and get it done right. It’s just us here, doing what we know how to do, day in and day out.
