Pappu Engineering Works

Working out in Bawana Sector 4 at the DSIDC Industrial Area isn't for everyone. It’s a long commute for me to get to I-263 every morning, but this is where the work is. Pappu Engineering Works is a place of metal and grease. We have several lathe machines and welding equipment that take up most of the floor space. It’s loud, and there’s usually a bit of smoke in the air from the welding. We don't wear suits or sit in offices; we are out there with our hands dirty, fixing parts or cutting metal to size. The floor is concrete and always has some oil on it, no matter how much we try to clean it. We get a lot of work from the other factories in the area that need something repaired or a specific part made. It’s honest, hard work. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy logo. Most people know us by our name and the fact that we’ve been in this sector for a long time. There isn't much to see around here besides other industrial units, so we just focus on the job at hand. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly so we can get back to the machines. By the time the shift ends, we are covered in dust and metal shavings, but that’s just part of being in the engineering business. We just do the work and go home.
