T.S. Engineering Works (India)

T.S. Engineering Works (India) is tucked away at House No.17-A in Gopal Nagar. We’re really close to the Tata Power Delhi Distribution place, which makes it easy to explain where we are to people who haven't visited before. Azadpur is a busy area, and our street is no different. You’ll hear the sound of metal hitting metal long before you actually see our front door. We’ve got a lot of machines packed into our space, and they stay running most of the day. It gets pretty loud, so we usually have to shout to hear each other over the grinders and lathes. The floors are stained with oil, and there are metal shavings in the corners, but that’s how an engineering shop should look. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you’ll find us right there in the middle of the work. We do all sorts of fabrication and repair jobs. Some days we’re working on small parts, and other days it’s something much bigger that takes up the whole floor. The Delhi heat can be tough in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles. We’re just a bunch of guys who know how to handle tools and fix things. We’ve been at 17-A for a long time and plan to stay here for a lot longer. It’s just what we do.
