Down at 3934/3 in Kamla Nagar, you will find our shop inside Om Market on G B Road. It is a very busy area, as anyone who knows G B Road can tell you. The market is always full of people looking for different parts and supplies. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. Being in Om Market means we are right in the middle of everything. There is always noise from the street and the other stalls. We spend our days sorting through stock and helping people who walk in looking for specific tools. It gets pretty cramped sometimes when a big shipment arrives and we have to find space for it on the shelves. The building is old and has that specific market smell of metal and dust. We don't do much in the way of advertising because the location does the work for us. People just know where Kamla Nagar is and they come to G B Road when they need things. We’ve been behind this counter for a long time. The fan overhead does its best, but it still gets hot during the summer months. We keep a ledger of what goes in and out and try to stay on top of the mess. It is a simple way to run a business, but it works for us here in the market. Every day is different, but the work stays the same. We just keep the tools moving.
