Tools & Hardware Store

Our shop, which is simply called Tools & Hardware Store, is at 218 G B Road in Gali Loharan. Gali Loharan is one of those old lanes that has a lot of history. It is quite narrow, so you have to be careful when walking down it. We have been at this address for many years now. The shop itself is quite small and the walls are covered with all sorts of tools, from wrenches to saws. We try to keep everything in some kind of order, but it usually ends up looking a bit cluttered. That is just the way hardware stores are, I think. People come to us because they know we likely have that one specific screw or tool they can't find anywhere else. The lighting inside is a bit dim, which gives it a bit of an old-world feel. We spend our days helping people pick out what they need for their home repairs or small projects. There is always a smell of metal and oil in the air, which we have grown to like. We do not have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just a plain shop with a lot of heavy items. Sometimes we stand out front to get some fresh air and watch the people go by in the Gali. It is a slow and steady kind of life here at 218 G B Road.
