Suri Spares (India)

If you make your way over to Mori Gate, you will eventually find the Rajasthan Motor Market. Our shop, Suri Spares (India), is located at 3/2778 on Hamilton Road. This is a very old and established part of the city. The buildings are packed tightly together and the streets can feel quite narrow when they are full of people. Hamilton Road is almost always congested with cars and scooters. It can be a struggle just to find a clear spot to stand on the sidewalk. Inside our shop, it feels a bit like a maze. We have rows of shelves that stretch back into the darker parts of the building. Even if it looks a bit disorganized, we know exactly where every single item is stored. The air around Mori Gate always has a faint smell of exhaust and dust. It is a very busy and sometimes frantic place to spend your day. We have been at 3/2778 for a very long time. My father ran the shop here before I took over. The Rajasthan Motor Market has a lot of history behind it. People come from all over just to find things. We still keep our records in a heavy ledger on the front counter. Some things are just easier to do the old-fashioned way. Suri Spares (India) is just a fixture of the street now. We open up early and stay until Hamilton Road finally starts to get quiet. The tea here is strong and helps with the noise.
