Standard Engineering Works

If you walk down toward the Nag Mandir in Satyawati Nagar, you’ll find us at L-116. We’ve been operating Standard Engineering Works from this spot for a good long while now. It’s a bit of a noisy business, especially when we have the heavy machinery going. We do all sorts of metalwork and engineering jobs that come through the door. It’s not a polished environment by any means; there’s iron dust on the floor and the walls have seen better days. But it works for what we need. Most of our day is spent measuring, cutting, and fitting things together. We see a lot of people from the neighborhood who need a quick weld or something made for their home or shop. Being near the temple means there are always people around, which is nice. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cramped when we have a big project taking up the center floor, but we shuffle things around to make it work. We aren't fancy engineers with suits, we’re the kind who have dirt under our fingernails and wear old boots. It’s been our life for years, and we know the machines inside out. Satyawati Nagar is a tight-knit place, and we’re just another part of the scenery here. We just do the work as it comes and try to stay on top of the pile.
