You can find Sri Duka Enterprises at No. 45B/1658 inside Bhagirath Palace in Chandni Chowk. This place is famous for being the biggest electrical market, and it truly feels like a maze once you get inside. Our shop is one of hundreds, but we’ve managed to carve out our own little space here. It’s always bright because of all the lights being tested in the neighboring shops. We deal with various electrical parts and components. The space is small, so we have to be very careful about how we stack things. Sometimes you have to move five boxes just to get to one item at the back. It’s a bit chaotic, but there’s a system to it that only we really understand. The fans are always running to keep the air moving because it gets quite stuffy in the narrow corridors. We get a lot of technicians and contractors coming in every day. Most of them are in a hurry, so we have to be quick. Chandni Chowk has a vibe you won't find anywhere else. It’s loud, it’s messy, and it’s full of life. We eat our lunch at the counter because there’s no separate break room. It’s just the reality of working in such a packed market. We’ve been here for years and wouldn't really know what to do with ourselves anywhere else. It’s a lot of work, but at least there is never a dull moment around here.
