S K Seth & Sons

Our shop, S K Seth & Sons, is at 42-43 G B Road, right across from Kashmiri Gate. If you have ever been to this part of the city, you know how packed it gets with all the shops and the traffic. We have been here for a long time, passed down from my father to us. We sell various hardware and mechanical parts. The shelves are packed high with boxes, and sometimes it is a bit of a struggle to find a specific part if it is buried at the back. We do not have a computer system to track every nut and bolt; we mostly just remember where things are. It is a bit dusty and the light is not the best, but it is a real working shop. We do not spend time on fancy displays or making things look pretty. People come here when they need a part that actually works and they do not want to pay high prices for a fancy box. We spend our days talking to mechanics and builders who know exactly what they need. It is a loud, busy environment with the sounds of the road right outside. Sometimes we sit on stools out front when things are slow, just watching the people go by Kashmiri Gate. We are not trying to be a big chain or anything. We are just a family business that has been on this road for decades, doing things the old way.
