We are set up right next to Nav Nitin Public School over in Libaspur. Gali No.12 is always humming with activity, especially when the school kids are running around in the morning and afternoon. Our office and work space is tucked away in this lane. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't familiar with the neighborhood. We handle various food and beverage tasks every day. It gets incredibly hot in the kitchen during the summer months but we just get used to it after a while. Most of the people working here are locals who know these streets like the back of their hands. We don’t bother with any big shiny signs out front. It’s just a practical, no-frills setup for what we need to get done. A lot of our day is spent checking on supplies and making sure everything is moving out the door. The floors are just plain concrete and we scrub them down every night. This isn't a quiet place to work. There is always noise from the street or the sounds from the school next door. We’ve stayed in this part of Delhi because this is where we started out. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low and the power flickers, but we manage just fine. We aren't doing anything fancy or high-tech here. It's just a lot of hard work and long hours. We eat our lunch together in the back whenever we get a break. The neighbors know us well.
