We are based in Adarsh Nagar on Shivaji Road, specifically at E/3. It’s a lively neighborhood, and being on Shivaji Road means there is always something going on right outside our doors. Our work is mainly about beverages, so there is a lot of heavy lifting involved every single day. You’ll usually see crates piled up or the delivery truck trying to navigate the narrow street. It’s noisy, especially when the bottles are being moved around, but that’s just the sound of the business running. The office part of the building is small and usually smells a bit like the cardboard boxes we use for packing. We have a couple of fans going all day to keep the heat down, though they don't do much in the middle of summer. Most of our time is spent checking the stock and making sure the orders for the local shops are ready to go out on time. We don't have a lot of space for lounging around. Everyone here knows their job and just gets on with it. Sometimes we have a bit of a laugh when a delivery goes sideways or the weather messes up our schedule. It’s the kind of place where you get your hands dirty and you’re tired by the time the shutters go down. We’ve stayed in this spot because it’s close to the heart of the market and our regulars know where to find us.
