A One Water

Down in the middle of Chandni Chowk, in Gali Mandir Wali, you can find our shop at Choti Baradari 2662. We go by the name A One Water. This is a very old part of the city and the lanes are incredibly narrow. You really have to watch where you’re walking with all the rickshaws and people moving about constantly. Our shop is tucked away in a corner but we’ve been here long enough that most people know the way. It’s an old building with thick stone walls and not much sunlight gets inside. We deal with water purifiers and storage tanks. It’s always a bit damp and it smells like old stone and brewed tea in here. We don’t have a website or any kind of fancy office. It’s just a wooden counter and some stools for us to sit on. We spend our time talking to the neighbors and the other vendors nearby. Most of our day is spent handling repairs or talking to people about their water issues at home. It’s very noisy outside with the temple bells ringing and the shouting from the market. We don't mind it though. It’s just the energy of this place. Sometimes we have to carry heavy bottles through the narrow gaps between the buildings. It’s hard work but it’s what we do. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone who walks in. We just fix what is broken and move on to the next thing.
