S.K. Collections

S.K. Collections is right in the heart of Chandni Chowk, down in Kinari Bazar. Our shop is at No. 2083/12 on the ground floor of the Roshan Uddola building. If you’ve ever been to Chandni Chowk, you know how crowded and loud it gets every single day, but that’s just part of the experience. We deal in all sorts of traditional wear, laces, and borders that people use for weddings and big festivals. The shop is small and packed from the floor to the ceiling with colorful items. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes, but we know where everything is kept. We’ve been in this market for a long time, and we’ve seen the streets change while staying exactly the same in some ways. We spend our days showing different fabrics to customers who come from all over the city to find something specific. It’s a lot of standing and unrolling heavy rolls, then folding them all back up again once the customer leaves. We aren't a big fancy boutique; we are a local shop where you can find something unique if you look hard enough. The noise from the street is constant—rickshaws, people shouting, and the general bustle of the market. We open up early and don't close until the very last customer leaves for the night. It’s hard work, but being part of such a historic market makes it feel worth it. We just keep doing what we do.
