D. J. Exports Pvt. Ltd. is down in the basement at B-11 in Gujrari Wala Town, Phase-I, right off the Ring Road. Being in a basement means we don’t get much natural light, but it stays a bit cooler which is nice when it’s hot outside. The Ring Road is always loud with traffic, so there’s a constant hum in the background while we work. We’ve got stacks of boxes everywhere because there’s always something coming in or going out. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes navigating between the shelves. We’ve been here for years, and the stairs are a bit worn down from all the heavy lifting. We handle all the paperwork and the packing ourselves. It’s a small team, so everyone chips in when a big shipment needs to be ready. We aren't a big flashy office with glass walls; we just have some sturdy desks and a lot of packing tape. Sometimes the courier guys are waiting at the door before we even open. It’s a fast pace because the export business doesn't really stop. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the computer for tracking numbers. It’s just how we operate. We like the location because it’s easy for the trucks to get to us from the main road. It’s just a regular basement business doing its thing day in and day out.
