Readymade Centre

We are over in Sadar Bazar at Shop No 297 in Tolia Wali Gali. If you know the area, you know how narrow the lanes are and how many people pass through every single hour. It’s a lively place to be. We sell clothes that are already made and ready to wear. We have shirts, trousers, and some stuff for kids too. The shop isn’t huge, so we have to use every bit of wall space to hang the clothes up. It’s a lot of folding and unfolding all day long. When customers come in, they usually want to see a few different sizes or colors, so the counters get messy pretty fast. We try to keep things organized, but in Sadar Bazar, it’s always a bit of a scramble. The lighting inside is a bit bright because we want people to see the colors clearly. We’ve been in Tolia Wali Gali for quite some time now. It’s a family-run sort of thing. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the shoppers to come by. The fans stay on all day because it gets quite hot in these narrow streets. It’s hard work, standing on your feet for ten hours, but it’s what we do. We just focus on getting the stock right and talking to the people who walk in.
