Shri Balaji Engineering Works

Shri Balaji Engineering Works is over at Khasra No 40/7, in Bahadur Singh Ka Ghera. We are located right on Gali No-1 in the industrial area of Samaypur. It is a gritty part of town, full of machines and the sound of metal hitting metal. Our workshop is exactly what you would expect from an engineering place. There is oil on the floors and tools hanging on every available bit of wall space. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; we mostly just work with the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through the alley. Samaypur is a busy hub, and our little corner of it stays pretty hectic from Monday to Saturday. We’ve been at this Khasra No 40/7 spot for years. The neighbors in Gali No-1 are all doing similar work, so there is a lot of shouting across the street and the constant hum of generators. It gets loud and it gets hot, but that is just how the job is. We spend our time fixing things and making sure the machines are running. Most of us have grease under our fingernails most of the time. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just show up, do the work in the ghera, and go home when the sun sets. It is hard work but it is honest, and we are used to the noise.
