Rai Engg Works

If you head out to Khasra No. 446 in Shahbad Daulatpur, you’ll find Rai Engg Works. We are situated quite close to the Hanuman Mandir, which is the main landmark people use to find us. The area is a bit dusty, and the roads can get crowded, but it’s where we do our work. Our workshop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s a functional space filled with lathes, drills, and various engineering tools. We spend our days fixing things or making new parts from scratch. The guys working the machines have greasy hands most of the time, and that’s just part of the job. Rai Engg Works is the kind of place where the work speaks for itself. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. We just focus on the engineering tasks that come through the door. Sometimes it’s a small repair for a neighbor, and other times it’s a bigger job for a local contractor. We keep a pot of tea going most of the afternoon, and things are pretty relaxed here, even when we’re busy. We’ve been at this spot near the temple for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our work remains pretty much the same. We just keep the machines running and handle the engineering work that needs doing. It is simple, honest labor.
