We’ve been here at 4108 Angoori Bagh Bazar near Ajmeri Gate for a long time now. It’s a busy spot, always people moving around the bazaar and shouting to one another. Our shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a lot of old shelves filled with different tools we have collected. You walk in and it smells like metal and a bit of dust from the street. Sometimes the light in the back flickers but we haven’t got around to fixing it because we're usually too busy looking for a specific wrench or a drill bit for someone who came in from the street. It’s mostly just us handling the day to day stuff. We open up early when the sun is still low and the market is just starting to wake up. There’s a tea stall nearby that keeps us going in the afternoons when the heat starts to settle in. If you come by, you’ll see crates stacked up and probably some grease on the counter where we handle the parts. It’s hard work, keeping track of everything in such a small space, but we know where most things are even if it looks like a mess to someone else. The noise from Ajmeri Gate never really stops but you get used to it after a few years of being here. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the inventory. People stop by on their way through the bazaar, asking for things they can't find elsewhere and we just do our best to find it.
