R. D. & Co.

Our business, R. D. & Co., is located at 3902 on Roshan Aara Road. It’s a very busy street in Delhi, and it can be quite a struggle to even get through the traffic some days. We’ve been based in this building for many years now. It’s not a fancy office at all. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of goods stacked up. The ceiling fans work hard in the summer heat, but it still gets quite warm inside. We deal with various items and handle orders for people who come to the market. It’s mostly just paperwork and moving stock around. We have a few people working here who have become like family over the years. We don't use any complicated business words or have big goals to expand. We just like to do our work and go home. Most of our day is spent talking to regular clients or checking the inventory that arrives. We usually have some tea around four o’clock, which is the best part of the day. There is no big marketing plan here. We just rely on being in a good spot where people know where to find us. It’s a bit dusty and the noise from the trucks outside never really stops, but we are used to it by now. It’s just a typical local business on a busy Delhi road with its own rhythm and pace.
