Punjab Sales Corporation

If you have ever been down to Hauz Qazi, you know how it goes. It is a maze of shops and people carrying bundles. We are situated at number 406 in Katra Sheikh Raja. You have to head up to the second floor to find us. Punjab Sales Corporation has been in this spot for a while now. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit narrow, so we always tell people to watch their step. Up here, it’s mostly shelves stacked high with various parts and items. It can get pretty warm in the summer months, but we have the fans going. We spend most of our time answering the phone or writing out bills by hand. It’s not a quiet place because of the market noise coming up from the street. You hear the rickshaws and the shouting all day long. We deal with a lot of regular faces who have been coming to this market for years. Usually, they know exactly what they want, so we just go back into the stacks and dig it out for them. Sometimes the stock is buried a bit deep, so it takes a minute. It takes a bit of energy to work in this heat every day. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things sold and moved out. After the shutters go down, it’s finally quiet.
