Paradise Tools

Paradise Tools is located at K-169 in the middle of Jama Masjid Meena Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Meena Bazar, you know it’s a maze of shops and people. Our shop is tucked away, and it’s packed from floor to ceiling with every kind of tool you can imagine. We have screwdrivers, hammers, and specialized bits hanging from the walls. It’s a very tight space, so you have to squeeze past the displays to get to the back. The air always smells a bit like metal and old packaging. We spend a lot of time helping customers find that one specific tool they need for a home project or a professional job. It’s noisy outside with the rickshaws and the calls from other vendors, but we’re used to it. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just know we’re here. Sometimes we sit on small plastic stools out front when business is slow. The heat in the summer can be tough because there’s not much ventilation in these old buildings. We’ve had this shop for years, and not much has changed in terms of how we do things. We count the inventory by hand and write down sales in a big ledger. It’s honest work in a very historic part of the city. You get to see all sorts of people walking by every single day. We stay open until late evening when the lights come on.
