North Engineering Trading Co. is tucked away at 641 Shardhanand Marg. Finding us behind 77 G.B. Road can be a bit of a trick if you aren't looking closely. The area is always noisy with traffic and people moving boxes. We’ve been here for a long time. The office is small and filled with files and some old furniture that’s seen better days. We spend most of our time talking to suppliers or checking orders. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby or anything like that. Just a door and some desks. Most of us here have worked together for years, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. Sometimes the electricity acts up, or the street gets blocked by a truck, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We handle engineering trade stuff, mostly just moving items from one place to another. It isn't glamorous. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. It’s a functional space for a functional business. We aren't trying to impress anyone, just trying to keep the ledger balanced and the customers reasonably satisfied. It’s a living, and it works for us. We don’t need any fancy things to do our job correctly every day.
