If you’ve ever been to Kashmere Gate, you know how hectic it is. We are located at 617/5 on Hamilton Road. It’s a constant stream of people, rickshaws, and trucks. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We deal with a lot of different things here, mostly parts and supplies that people need for their vehicles or machines. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling, and honestly, sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what we’re looking for. It’s a bit of a maze of boxes and metal. We don't have a lot of room for people to sit down and hang out. It’s a place for business. You come in, ask for what you need, and we go find it. The noise from Hamilton Road is something you just learn to ignore after a week. It’s always there. We drink tea multiple times a day because that’s just what you do here. We’ve known some of our customers for years. They stop by even if they don't need anything, just to say hi. We don't have any corporate training. We just know our stock and we know how to talk to people. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights to find parts in the back. It’s just part of the experience of working in an old area like this. We’re just a regular shop trying to stay organized.
