Narayan Power Tools

Narayan Power Tools is situated at 4788-89/216 in Hauz Qazi, right at Phatak Namak on the second floor. You have to walk up the stairs to find us, which keeps us away from the main rush of the street level. Up here, it is a bit quieter, but the shop is still packed with all kinds of power drills and saws. We have boxes stacked high in almost every corner because the space is a bit small for everything we keep. It is a bit of a maze sometimes, but we know exactly where everything is hidden. Most of the people who come up here are regulars who have been buying from us for a long time. They know the climb is worth it to get what they need. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. The windows look out over the busy market below, and you can hear the constant hum of the city all day long. We just sit among the tools and handle whatever comes our way. It is a straightforward business without any of that modern polish. We talk to people plainly and tell them what we think about a tool based on what we’ve seen over the years. When the day ends, we lock up the shutters and head back down to the street.
