Working at E-47 in Sector 2 of the Bawana Industrial Area means dealing with a lot of dust and noise every day. This is where M.P Dal Mill is set up. It is a busy part of the city, and the trucks are always lined up on the roads nearby. Inside the mill, the machines are running most of the time, processing different kinds of dal. It gets pretty hot in here, especially during the summer months when the machines have been going since the early morning. We spend our hours checking the grain, making sure the bags are filled right, and keeping an eye on the equipment. It is not the kind of job where you stay clean. You go home with dust on your clothes and the smell of raw pulses. The industrial area is a maze of sheds and units, and we are just one of the many places here doing our part. We don't have fancy offices or anything; it is mostly just the production floor and some space for the sacks. People come by to pick up loads, and we keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving stuff around, but that is just the nature of the mill. We have been in Bawana for a bit now, and we just keep to our routine, processing the pulses and getting the bags stacked up for delivery.
