If you go down into Chawri Bazar, you'll find us at number 904. It’s a very old part of the city, and the streets are narrow and always full of people and carts. We deal in paper. All kinds of paper, really. From the stuff you use for wedding cards to basic sheets for printing and writing. The shop is old, and the shelves go all the way up to the ceiling. It smells like old paper and ink in here, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We spend our days cutting paper to size or helping people pick out the right weight for their specific projects. It's a lot of lifting heavy reams and bundles, so you don't really need a gym membership when you work here. The market outside is a chaos of rickshaws and people shouting, but that's just the vibe of Chawri Bazar. We’ve been in this spot for generations. It’s a family thing. We don't have a computer system that tracks everything perfectly; we still use some of the old ways of keeping records in ledger books. It works for us and our customers. They come in knowing they’ll get what they need without any fuss. It’s a simple business. We buy paper, we stock it, and we sell it. There isn't much more to it than that. It’s a bit cramped, and sometimes we lose track of a specific pile for a minute, but we always find it eventually.
