Kapoor Times Corner

The shop is located at 313/32A Inderlok and we have been here for a good while now. It is just a regular place where we deal with watches and timepieces every single day. Usually, the morning starts with rolling up the heavy iron shutters and dusting off the glass counters which always seem to catch the city grit no matter how much we clean. The space inside is not very big but we have managed to fit a lot of different clocks on the walls and wristwatches in the display cases. Sometimes the ticking sounds all sync up and other times it is just a chaotic noise in the background while we work. People from around the neighborhood drop by mostly for small things like changing a dead battery or fixing a broken strap that they have had for years. We do not do anything fancy here, just sit on our stools and look through magnifying glasses at tiny gears and springs. The lighting is a bit yellow and the fan overhead makes a rhythmic clicking sound that fits the mood of the shop. It gets busy in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work and they remember they need a gift or their watch stopped working two days ago. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone gets their items back when we said we would have them ready.
