Ica Retail

Ica Retail is located right here at A-62 in Shastri Nagar. It’s not a huge place, just a regular shop where we keep things organized as best as we can. New Delhi is always moving fast, and this neighborhood is no exception. Most days start with us unlocking the front shutters and dusting off the counters before anyone shows up. There’s a lot of inventory to move around and sometimes the boxes pile up in the back more than we’d like. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the shelves aren't empty. We know most of the people who walk through the door because they live right around the corner. Sometimes we sit and have tea when it’s quiet, but that doesn’t happen too often. The floors get scuffed up from all the foot traffic, and we just mop them at the end of the shift. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don’t use those big corporate words to describe what we do. We just sell what we have and try to be honest about it. Shastri Nagar can be a bit loud with the bikes and the vendors outside, but we like it here. It feels like home after you’ve spent enough hours behind the counter. We just keep our heads down and do the work that’s right in front of us.
