Mk Engineering Works

We have been here at N- 170 in Sector 2 of Bawana for a good while now. It is a busy industrial park and there is always noise from the machines around us. At Mk Engineering Works, we mostly handle metal parts and repair jobs that local factories bring in. It gets pretty hot in the summer because of the welding and the lack of a good breeze in this part of the park. My father started this and now I help run things along with a couple of guys who have been with us for years. We don't really do much fancy advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here and they drop by when something breaks or they need a specific part made. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, but that is just how an engineering workshop looks. We try to get the jobs done on time, though sometimes the electricity goes out in Bawana and that sets us back a day or two. It’s hard work and your hands are always dirty by the end of the shift. We just focus on the machines and making sure the measurements are right. If you come by, you might have to wait a bit if we are in the middle of a big piece, but that is just how it goes here. We don't have a fancy office, just a desk in the corner with a lot of old ledgers and some tea cups.
