We are up on the fifth floor of the Chanakya building on Ashram Road. It’s a busy part of Ahmedabad, and being near Dinesh Hall means there’s always people moving around outside. Our office handles all the rubber technical stuff we do. It’s not like a shop floor here; it’s more about the paperwork, the phone calls, and the technical drawings. We have a lot of samples lying around the tables, little pieces of rubber and parts that we show to anyone who comes by for a meeting. The elevator in this building can be a bit slow sometimes, so we usually just wait and chat while it makes its way up. We’ve been in this space for some years now. It gets quite bright in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows, so we have to keep the blinds down mostly. It’s a quiet environment compared to the street noise below. We deal with a lot of different orders, some big and some small, and we just try to keep everything sorted in the filing cabinets. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a functional office where the work gets done. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we know how each other likes to handle things. It’s a steady job and we like the location because it’s easy for everyone to get to.
