Machine Tools India is over at 2789/3 Kashmere Gate on Lothian Road. If you know Delhi, you know how hectic Kashmere Gate can be. It is always loud and there are people everywhere. We have been in this spot on Lothian Road for a long time. The building is old and has a lot of character, though it could probably use a coat of paint. We sell machine tools. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy catalog. Most people just come in and ask for what they need. Our shop is packed with all sorts of bits and pieces. It might look a little messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We spend our days talking to mechanics, builders, and other shop owners. It’s a noisy place to work because of the traffic outside, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any corporate slogans. We just try to keep the right tools in stock and sell them at a fair price. Some days are busier than others. When the weather is hot, the shop gets a bit stuffy, but that’s just life at Kashmere Gate. We like being here in the middle of it all. It is a real place with real people and we just do our part. We aren't interested in being fancy. We just want to get the right tool into the right hands.
