Machine Spares is located right in the middle of the chaos at 3570, Ram Bazar, in Morigate. If you’ve ever been to Morigate, you know how busy it gets. The streets are narrow and always full of carts, bikes, and people looking for parts. Our shop is just like the others around here—small, crowded, and filled to the ceiling with metal bits and spares. It’s hard to find anything if you don’t know where to look, but we know exactly where every bolt and gear is hidden. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the building shows its age. The walls are a bit stained from all the oil and grease, but that’s just part of the job. We spend our days digging through bins and talking to mechanics who come in looking for that one specific part they can’t find anywhere else. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and it’s usually pretty hot, but it’s home for us. We don’t do any fancy advertising. People just know that if they need a spare, they come to Ram Bazar. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room. You just walk in, tell us what you need, and we’ll go find it in the back. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it’s worked for us all these years. Sometimes the power goes out in the middle of the day, and we just sit outside on the steps and wait for it to come back on. You get used to the rhythm after a while.
