Indraprastha Traders

Indraprastha Traders is located at 1673, Lothian Road. If you know Kashmere Gate, you know how the traffic can be. It is one of those old parts of Delhi where everything is packed together. Our building has been there for a long time and the stairs are quite narrow. We have been trading here for years, surrounded by piles of inventory that seem to reach the ceiling. The walls are painted a pale color that has faded over the decades. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, but mostly we just see the tops of buses and trucks going by. It is noisy all day with the honking and the shouting of the market. We have a couple of desks pushed together where we keep the ledgers and the phones. Indraprastha Traders isn't a modern glass office. It is a place where we drink our chai out of small glass cups and talk to the same delivery guys we have known for ten years. The air smells like old paper and the street outside. Sometimes it is hard to find what you are looking for in the back room, but we eventually track it down. We are just local traders doing our bit in the middle of a very busy city. It is a crowded spot, but it has been the home for this business for a long time now.
