Kapadia & Parikh Engineering Co

We have been here at Hauz Qazi for quite some time now. If you know Chand Market, we are right there, just opposite the Chawri Bazar Metro station. It’s a crowded spot, but everyone knows this part of Delhi is the place for engineering supplies. We mostly deal with parts and materials that local shops and factories need. It gets noisy with the traffic and people coming in and out of the metro, but that is just how it is around here. Sometimes the deliveries take a bit longer because the lanes are narrow, so we have to manage the timing. My father started things out, and we just kept going with what we knew. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just a regular shop filled with stock and a few desks. We spend most of the day answering calls or checking the inventory in the back. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat, but we have some good people working here who have stayed with us for years. People come to us because they know where to find us. We don't really do much advertising. Usually, it's just someone telling a friend to come by 4762/63. We keep it simple and try to get the orders right. Dealing with the logistics in Old Delhi can be a headache, but we figured it out. We just show up every morning and get to work.
