Kalgidhar Engineering Works

Kalgidhar Engineering Works is located at A 84 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area, right on Hari Singh Nalwa Street. If you walk down the street, you can hear the sound of metal hitting metal from all the different shops. Our place is no different. It’s a narrow building, and we have stuff stacked up pretty high to make use of the space. The street outside is usually muddy if it rained recently, and there are always scooters parked everywhere. We’ve been at A 84 for a long time. Inside, the lights are a bit dim, but we can see what we’re doing. There is a lot of grease on the floor near the machines. We keep our tools on a big wooden bench that has seen better days. It’s a lot of sweat and hard work on Hari Singh Nalwa Street. We don't have a reception desk or anything like that. People just walk straight into the workshop area. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background, though it's hard to hear over the machines. Wazirpur is a busy spot, and we are right in the thick of it. We just focus on the parts we are making and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s a simple life at the engineering works. We open up early and close when the light fades out. There isn't much more to it than that.
