Our shop is right below the Canara Bank in Hauz Qazi. Sirkiwalan is a tight spot, always packed with people and carts moving around. If you know the area, you know how it gets. We deal with all sorts of hardware items every day. The shelves are full of metal parts, tools, and things people need for building or fixing stuff. It’s a bit dark inside because the shop is tucked away, but we know our way around. Customers come in asking for things we haven't seen in years, and sometimes we actually find them in the back. It’s mostly just us handling the counter and moving heavy boxes. The bank upstairs makes it easy to explain where we are to people who aren't from around here. We don't have a big showroom. It’s more of a place where you come to get what you need and leave. The dust from the street gets in everything, so we’re always wiping down the counters. It’s loud outside with the horns and people shouting, but that’s just the market life. We’ve been at this for a long time now. It’s steady work, nothing too exciting, but it keeps us busy from morning till we close the shutters. It’s just a regular hardware store trying to keep things moving in a busy part of Delhi. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock so we can actually find things when people ask for them.
