I Z & Co is located at 82 Ajmeri Gate, inside the Din Dayal Upadhya Market. If you've ever been to Ajmeri Gate, you know it's one of the busiest places you can imagine. The market is always packed with people, carts, and noise. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We've been here for a long time, and the building definitely shows its age. We have narrow shelves and a counter that has been worn smooth over the years. We deal with various goods, and our inventory changes depending on what's available and what people are asking for. It's a very traditional way of doing business. We don't use much technology besides a basic calculator and a phone. We write our receipts by hand most of the time. The market starts early and stays loud until late at night. We are used to the shouting of the vendors and the smell of the street food nearby. It’s a lively place to work, even if it’s a bit exhausting sometimes. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just show up, open the shutters, and see who comes in. It’s about being there every day and making sure we have what our customers need. We are just a small part of the big market. Every evening we pack things up and hope for a good crowd of people the next morning.
