If you ever find yourself in Chawari Bazar, you might have passed by our place. We are at 3751, Gali Lohe Wali. The name on the door is Hari Krishan Jaswant Rai. It’s an old-school kind of place in a very old-school part of the city. Gali Lohe Wali is exactly what it sounds like, a narrow lane where people have been doing business for generations. We fit right in. We don’t go in for modern marketing or trying to sound like a big corporation. We’re just a family-run type of setup that has survived by being honest and showing up every day. The shop is usually full of stuff, and the air is thick with the sounds of the market outside. It’s noisy, crowded, and perfectly fine with us. We know our neighbors and they know us. Most of our day is spent talking to folks who have been coming to this lane for years. We handle the orders, move the stock, and make sure everything is accounted for. There isn't a lot of mystery to it. We don’t have a mission statement hanging on the wall. Our only goal is to finish the day’s work so we can come back and do it again tomorrow. It’s a simple way of living, but it’s ours. Chawari Bazar has a lot of history, and we are happy to have a small part in it at number 3751. We stay grounded and focused.
