Handa Tools Co has been at 1/147 Kashmere Gate for a long time now. If you know the Panja Sharif Chowk area, you know how crowded and busy it gets. It’s always loud with the traffic and people moving about constantly. Our shop is right in the middle of all that action. It’s an old building, nothing like those new glass offices you see popping up. The walls here have seen a lot of years. We keep our tools stacked up on the shelves, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for because there's just so much stuff tucked away in the corners. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this forever. Dealing with the heat in the summer can be tough, especially with the breeze blocked by all the other shops nearby. But we’ve got our fans going. Most of our day is spent talking to folks who stop by the chowk. It’s a very local kind of place. You get used to the noise of the horns and the shouting outside after a while. We don’t really bother with fancy websites or big signs. The address 1/147 is well-known to the regulars. If you are coming down to Panja Sharif Chowk, you'll see us.
