We are tucked away at 5494-A in Gali No.-5, which is in the New Chandrawal area of Kamla Nagar. If you find Kashi Ram Choupal, we are just across from there. It’s one of those narrow lanes where everyone knows everyone else. Our shop is focused on dies and machinery, so the air usually smells a bit like oil and cold metal. It’s a tight space, but we have managed to fit everything we need into it over the years. The walls are lined with various parts and the workbench is always covered in whatever project is currently being worked on. We don’t really do fancy signage or big displays. Most people find us because they know the neighborhood or saw us working while walking by. The Gali gets quite busy with neighbors and other small shops, so there is always a bit of chatter outside the door. Inside, we just focus on the task at hand. It’s a lot of manual work, checking measurements and making sure the machines are running like they should. We take our time with the things we make because that’s the only way to do it right. The floor has some oil stains and the lighting is just some basic tubes on the ceiling. It’s a real working man’s shop, nothing more and nothing less. We’ve been in Kamla Nagar for quite some time now and we like the local feel.
