Goodluck Engineering Works

You have to head inside the lanes of Bara Hindu Rao to find our shop. Goodluck Engineering Works is tucked away in there, in one of those older parts of the city where everything is a bit tight and crowded together. We do a lot of metal work and various kinds of mechanical repairs. The shop has been in the family for a long time, and you can tell by the walls that are stained with oil and grease from decades of work. We have a few old lathes and some heavy-duty drills that still run better than the newer models you see today. It gets really noisy when we start grinding down metal, and the sparks tend to fly all over the place. We don't have a big glowing sign or anything fancy like that. Most people find us because they heard about the shop from a neighbor or someone else in the area. It is the kind of place where you can hear the sound of hammers hitting iron from all the way down the street. We try to keep the floor clear, but there are always offcuts and pieces of scrap metal lying around. We don't use much in the way of high technology here, just our own hands and the machines we have always relied on. The air usually smells like hot metal and machine lubricant. It is honest work and we often stay late.
