Choudhary International

Shanti Market is a busy place and we are tucked away on the first floor at 2108. It is right behind the Julee Cinema which is a good landmark for people who haven't visited us before. You have to go up a narrow set of stairs to find the office of Choudhary International. It’s not the most modern building in the world and the hallways are often filled with goods waiting to be moved. We have been working out of this spot for years now and we know all the other shop owners in the market by name. Trading and dealing with international bits and pieces takes up most of our day. The phones ring quite a bit and there is always someone coming in to drop off a sample or pick up some documents. It can get a little disorganized when a big shipment arrives and we have to stack things in the corners. We don't really bother with fancy decorations because we are too busy keeping up with the paperwork. The light in the office isn't great but we've grown used to it over time. Sometimes we go downstairs to the tea stall near the cinema just to get a break from the noise of the market. It is a decent way to earn a living and we like being in the middle of all the action in this part of town.
