Down in Bara Hindu Rao, specifically in Gali Shahtara, is where you will find us. The address is 4438, but the street numbers can be a bit confusing if you aren't from around here. We are near Ajmeri Gate, so it is always crowded with people, carts, and motorcycles. Breeze Tools India has been operating out of this small space for years. It is a tight fit with all the boxes of tools we keep in stock. We usually have to shuffle things around just to let someone walk to the back. The air is thick with the smell of metal and old paper. Most of our morning is spent checking what came in the night before and trying to find space for it on the shelves. It’s a lot of climbing up and down ladders. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign. Most people know us through word of mouth or they just stumble upon us while looking for something else in the market. We have tea twice a day, and that is usually when we catch up on the local news with the other shopkeepers. The power goes out occasionally, but we just keep working by the light from the door. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We just take things one day at a time here because there is always something to do.
